I have seen one of these in live action (supercharged version), it is smaller than it looks on the pictures, but believe me... dammed fast!! It will out-run a lot of exotic cars, on the road or the track, it is in fact pretty quick.

The US version doesnt have the honda motor. It uses a ecotec turbo.

Does it? Never heard about that, and the one in my attached pictures did had the honda w/supercharger motor on it, it was actually taken to the track by some guys of the "Ariel" team, they were all dressed up with t-shirts, hats and stuff and the car never touched the street, just the track, they drove a tow-truck with platform with the car on top of it.

It was a really fun day at the track as it was an "open-track day" , and every one got smoked by this little thing, even the ferrari f430 that was around, no joke...

Yeah the US version (the atom 2) first got the supercharge ecotec. I thought they had put a turbo ecotec in there but I guess not. Jeno leno has a turbo one I think.

The atom 500 will have a 3.0L V8. Basically it uses two busa motors.

An f430 is more of a blur between a sports car and a supercar. Its nowhere near a hypercar like the Atom. Lightweight is key, and the atom is the embodiment of that principle.

For what it's trying achieve, from an engineering stand point, this thing is BADASS. As far cost and practicality....eh. Any of us could do WAY more practical FUN cars with $35k. SHIT, give me $35k to invest in my car....shiiiit lol

I rated it cool because would I DRIVE one? Fuck yes.
Would I BUY one? Fuck no.

The Atom models are absolutely awesome cars; I would rock one ANYDAY.

    Otherwise I would go with a SuperliteCars SL-R -- http://www.superlitecars.com/
